    i think there is almost no difference between v and g series in 2019.v series should keep the rigged form factor like v10,and g series to e more for the average consumer. but with this two almost same phones,except the small speck diferences, dont see the point keeping both series still alive

      This phone is not distinctive it's very similar to it's predecessor. It's plain and boring.

        Why go gameboy DS style if you can do foldable phone. Why go 107degree angle camera if samsung and rest does 120. No front speaker, but still a notch they could just have done a hole like Samsung or a slider just for the selfie camera.

                  G8 triple will be my next phone. Even the G8 dual, if the price is right.
                  Top of the market sound department,3.5mm jack, good battery, sd slot, OLED screen, FM radio, extremely versatile camera system, ToF with nice tricks (air gestures), waterproofing, small physical dimentions. It checks all my boxes, except the notch. Nevermind, I'll have it.

                      Alright we have no notch once again but to thanks LG no stupid blackholes on the display. Also LG should provide an option to hide the notch in all apps. That would be great. It's good that they have also given the same 3550 mAh battery for the G8s along with the triple cameras.
                      LG realeases it soon in India so that the V40 price lowers and I can buy it.

                        Wow, the LG V50 FINALLY did it with a bigger battery and stereo speakers to go with the microSD card slot, headphone jack with super-powerful DAC, and wide-angle cameras. As long as it will be cheaper than the Galaxy S10+, I may go after it (especially since the GCam app can pretty much fix the shortcomings of the camera). The G8 and G8s...aren't...terrible but not my thing.

                        Still waiting to see what the ZTE Axon 10 Pro will bring when it's unveiled tomorrow. I'm super-stoked!

                              Good phones but I wish the telephoto camera had OIS and there are concerns about the sharpness of the f1.5 lens.

                              With the notch blacked out I think it's more symmetrical than the punch hole

                                The old notch.. Even the s10s looks more stylish

                                  Finaly great all rounders for LG. Amoleds, 3.5mm jack, microsd card slot, larger batteries, great chipsets, decent cameras. I guess they could comeback with this series.

                                    V50 is the all-rounder LG desperately needed. Hopefully it'll sell well for LG's sake.

                                        Got notifications from MrMobile and MKBHD and realised LG just launched a G8.
                                        LG kinda does cool things but can't really execute it in a way...
                                        I feel bad for LG.
                                        I hope it makes a comeback with V8.
