JT, 25 Feb 2019This would be mighty useful for Nintendo Switch.Man i play on conventional PC i have a laptop worth more than 1000 bucks.
Playing on that small screen i rather play on a cell phone.
Android games are complete free.
Buying games for 30 to 60 bucks makes no sense.
Even PC games are complete free using a torrents.

I heard stories that SanDisk cards aren't exactly as reliable as other makers like Kingston, for example. Is that true?

I faced this problem .
Also I lost my personal data in phone.
My SD memory card is still safe and able to connect PC..
But mobile is unable to connect PC.
At that time I decide external memory cards are more better than internal phone memory.
Now my video and photos are directly saving in sd cards.
Ofcourse you saved your personal policy document in phone ..
that's all be gone with phone .
Now understand why need big storage .
SAVING MORE .
SAMSUNG also released 1 TB internal storage phone .
They are not fools to put 1 TB on phone ..
Picture quality video shooting is super in galaxy s9 .
I hate this internal storage.

High ext storage is for people who likes to keep everything since they own a phone. It also can be used as backup.
If you somehow goes from a 512GB phone down to a 16GB phone, you do not need to cry or complain about lack of storage.
If you somehow drop and destroyed your phone, your sd card is unlikely to be damaged, and you can recover from it.
I am sad that people always think high storage = porn. Not always so. If camera quality keeps improving.. why not storage as well?
