All the battery you could ever want, but probably not the battery you actually need.

ironically when the front cameras pop out .. this phone looks exactly like a A/AA battery in large scale

Why do companies only know two extremes? Either they have garbage batteries or this ridiculousness.

How about sticking a, I don't know, 8000mAh battery in a phone? It would last very long and not be this absurd brick.

          biceps day anyone?

The ultimate traveling battery capacity in a phone that can't travel. Energizer doesn't have global LTE bands and that thin curved glass won't survive a week. Probably shoots fire in a drop test.

hunk0429, 26 Feb 2019so to all who wants big battery, this fugly looking smartph... moreYou can get the same feeling by adding a smart way to replace batteries (I.e. without needing to turn off the phone of do anything overtly complicated). Sadly IP ratings killed that market.

I men imagine having a phone with a replaceable back. I mean the whole back going out and getting replaced by another which doubles as a charger. That way you could charge your "second back" all the while using the phone never getting out of choice. Also carry a second back/battery separately instead of constantly having it on the phone like this brick does ... Eeerhm "phone" I mean.

Reminds me of the first motorola brick phones. This is a better brick.

you can't blame those who comment negatively for its bulkiness. yes, we wanted bigger battery than, say the 3000ish on the new xperia 1, but not this big. this is not just exaggerated but overly exaggerated. nobody in their right mind would buy this- the market for smartphones with huge battery capacity are those who take their phone with them in potentially extreme and/or hazardous environments and this does not even have any kind of ip rating. this is insanely a marketing suicide.

If they used a 6k or 5k battery instead of 18k, it would actually make sense and be easier to handle and the phone would, probably, survive a whole day without needing a charger. Which is the whole point, IMO.

Thick as a brick and they couldn't fit a headphone jack? Lame.

My phone has a 4000maH batt and usually can last 1.5 days without charging. i now keep battery saving mode on for almost 2 days batt life, which i can't notice as the processor and ram is fast, which is good enough to prevent battery anxiety. only apple users still face this problem

This is a very good Android phone for a special need and a certain people, like Mountaineer, Traveller, Backpacker, Game Addict, and other Outdoors needs.

If you use Android OS and want a long battery life, there's no other way to get it except to thicken your phone, or carry a big powerbank everytime you engage in outdoor activities. Note that battery technology today is still left behind.

This kind of phone is not meant to be bought, it is made just to make a point of slimmer but having a standard battery phones out there, and to stop every ridiculous crybabies out there wanting more batteries on a phone. (i hope)
