Energizer Power Max P18K Pop and Ultimate U620S Pop hands-on review

All the battery you could ever want, but probably not the battery you actually need.

Is this what people want for more battery capacity?
This looks ridiculous.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2019Why two smaller batteries when you can have 1 bigger battery?Because two smaller batteries can fit more in a thin chassis than a one big battery

It looks like it definitely could have been slimmer or slimmer looking with the same or nearly same capacity

          That looks Hilarious!
Why don't they make a middle thick one, which doesn't look stupid, still fit's in your pocket, but has a 8000mah battery? It would maybe not last a week, but still long enough for everything.

I will buy one. What an innovative design that captures my attention.
Modern phones have tiny batteries and increased resolution that creates an even greater drain on the battery.

Modern phones like Galaxy series are way too thin to be able to hold comfortably. One of the nice things about this 18,000mAh device is you can actually hold it without the fear of dropping it. Especially if you put some skate-board tape on the sides. I will definitely buy one.

Interesting they don't list the weight, yet. Still, what's going to happen is it's too thick and heavy for anybody to consider it as a mobile phone, phone makers will list this as an example on how people don't want battery life, and move on to making 3000mah 6.5 inch potato wafers. What was needed was a 5000 to 8000mah battery with some 12 to 15mm thickness.

I also wonder if batteries themselves could be curved along their width. That will make it fit into the back of an ergonomically designed phone with a curved back making it easier to hold without wasting space.

This is the kind of innovation and R&D required. But all R&D departments are busy with these days are bezels and notches and glass backs that are no good.
