You have made the right choice between spotify & apple music. Unless one is tied to apple's hardware, I don't find any reason to choose any of its services with various restrictions.

Torrent and uploading my own personal music collection to Google Play Music while enjoying its free features like smart recommendations, curated radio and podcasts is better than relying on streaming music services and its expensive premium subscription costs.

However, it's only G... morehere in the philippines it is google play music that's not available. i once used a vpn just to circumvent the regionalization and for me to upload my own stash, but it was shortlived as the servers' ai did figure it out from my account details. i do have some music that's not available anywhere- my own and my dj friends' works, and i'm finding soundcloud a bit clunky. anyway, i have been a premium spotify subscriber for over 6 years now. luck for you in india you have alot more options. here in the philippines we only have spotify and apple music as the sensible choices, and between the 2 i prefer spotify when it comes to the highest quality available and the number of tracks you can download per device- 9,999.

All services seems to be equally good. However, it's only Google Play Music which offers you to upload your personal collection to its cloud. For those who have rare collections, this is a great boon. Further play music being part of google, there's seamless integration with android, yet another plus.

Aslipundit, 27 Feb 2019Wynk is the best. They have 90% of great rock albums, both ... moreWynk is by far the worst music streaming app. It uses way too many resources, has the worst database of all music streaming apps, only now has added the option to sort songs by name, doesn't give the freedom to not loop anything. For the database, I'm talking about big bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Arctic Monkeys etc.
I paid for wynk premium and it was a very bad decision and experience

Well, 99% time I listen to English songs. So, this is a great news for me. 1200 INR for 1 year is not bad at all.

yash, 27 Feb 2019Google Play settings > Clear CacheDon't have that option on my Realme 1 phone. Only the option to clear Google Play search history.

Be respectful and pay for the service.

May be your choice is different than mine. I will stick to wynk for a while, until I get better option to my taste while keeping in mind about
                            their subscription fees.

Honestly would have bought it and used it if Amazon music wasn't coming free with prime membership

It has great collection too, I never had to experience that any songs are missing.

Good luck to them as this segment is already jam-packed in India.
Apple Music, Jio Saavn, Wynk, Hungama, Play Music, Gaana and Amazon music
and almost all of them having huge library with 320kbps quality.
Really rough rough road for spotify as at first place max people who are using any of the above service already opted for long term subscription as it is cheaper,
Second things is that no one gonna leave current provider unless he is extremely dissatisfied, as with new app he has to search and download all songs again, so hectic for heavy user who keep like 200+ songs.
