Type c not seperated on a c... moreThe space between the ultrasonic fingerprint reader and the screen obviously has to stay 100% air free for it to work. I guess, we're lucky companies like Samsung hires engineers who actually think before implementing something new. :)

I haven't repaired an iPhone newer than that yet, however based on JerryRig's video, it's only the flex cable that is glued onto the rear metal housing on the likes of iPhone X. As for Galaxies, only a very few parts are glued onto the back, however it's quiet modular and fairly easy to replace many parts, (motherboard and everything else is still removable) I just much prefer it over an iPhone.

ur expert?, 28 Feb 2019then i would share ur opinion. so not really build for long... moreNot really. You dont have luxury to do any mistake on changing usb connector. That means if pathways are gone, bye bye connection, bye bye motherboard. Usually fixed type c is used on lower end devices. And from what i experienced and heard when you break fixed type c warranty is not valid. Its external damage. Repair is almost impossible and its not the same. There is no "clean" repair on type c if pathways are damaged. Its all modifications. I cant understand this concept of putting such a large memory chip 1tb on motherboard just for the risk of motherboard being useless with fixed type c.

wow. what a sh*tty engineering. Type c not seperated on a charger board or flet cable but directly on motherboard. That is bad for repair especially type c, type b is ok. and what fingerprint glued on display. im guessing frezzing is the only way to go

if usb port is coroded someone need all motherboard new or repair shop to chainge.
Better glued than than open for water. no case included for 1000 euro

If OnePlus 7 comes with an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, they can use the extra space for a headphone jack.
