Port a gcam on it and S8 will stand no chance to be compared. You know that the S8's cam is just carried from S7 & Note 7 right? It cant even do a real bokeh. So please dont compare it. In today's price, you only buy an S8 bcos of its other features and certainly not the camera. Do your homework boy and stop bashing these cheap chinese midrange phones. They are just unbeatable in this segment. Sorry for bad english. Love from India.

To appreciate the scale of Xiaomi's operation, let's use LG for comparison:

Samsung's M series are made of plastic and look very cheap and plasticky.
Samsung's A series are also made of plastic, but with surface treatment to make it look glass-like. Samsung has patented the term as "glass-tic".

As it was mentioned in launch event that since 48mp pic will use around 15-20 mb and is available in pro mode but you can take pictures at 12mp using normal mode.
RN7 also allows you to take pics at 12mp
So practically 12mp shooter in RN7pro will be used more than 48/pro mode. So does it make sense in investing more for a feature we will use less.
Should not we get pocco f1 than(when in discount)

Note 7 Pro, have 48 + 5 (i think), so same as Chinese version, or Global version (aliexpress).
But Redmi Note 7 India version, Redmi Note 7 China version, Redmi Note 7 Global versipn have same (SD660) processor.
Only Pro have SD 675.
Xiaomi keep year after year with differences from one market to another (same was in naming, Redmi 5 Plus [Note 5 India], Resmi Note 5 AI [Note 5 Pro India] etc..
