Andy, 28 Feb 2019Still no NFC. It will probably cost €250 in Europe. So hard... more250€ for 6/128 combo, maybe. But it's Xiaomi, we all know that their price goes down in 2-3 weeks, so it's better to wait those 2-3 weeks for price drop. I just hope that Mi9 SE will be with similar price, because od the screen and compact size.

Smartphon, 28 Feb 2019Lol yeah exactly. Sony should be sued. It is a 48MP sensor. Sony didn't do any false advertising. It's a single sensor & a step into the right direction after long, long time. I am much more for stocked together multiple sensors than for adding more & more useless sensors.

viano, 28 Feb 2019...SD 675 is beast and better than 700 series...
Wich w... moreIt's a same GPU in S710 & S675 while being lower clocked in S675. The A76 core's are both faster and more efficient (DMIPS/W) than A75's. The S675 is based on third generation of 14 nm Samsung FinFET lithography which employees both ultra high definition rooting library's & reduced number of layers. Its intended to be cheap and efficient & to go up against TSMC "12nm FinFET" which is pretty much the same thing, it's named 11 nm FinFET there for. On the other hand S710 is based on the first literation of Samsungs 10 nm FinFET employing pretty much mainstream density libs. By the Samsung own comparation both processes have similar density and power efficiency. The 10 nm one can push performance delta bit higher while "12 nm" advertised one is considerably cheaper.
By all means the S675 is a better SoC & real spiritual successor to the S650.
We will see what OEM's will cook with it, I am not so much convinced with RN 7 Pro for now, price is to high especially if compared to the Pacophon F1 which for only 30$ more brings in S845 with comparable single - dual core performance while still having 2x more big cores & much faster GPU (also IPS & DSP are also better). For some 60~100 $ extra a genuine last year quality traditional (fallen) OEM's flagship can be purchased bringing cuple more extras in the mix (quality, durability, HDR certified display [Amoled even]...) of course will S845. In short this years midrangers will have a hard sell from last year flagships.

SD 675 is indeed a beast as a mid-range SoC. Here is a serious review from a reputable source:

bignap, 28 Feb 2019well it has warranty and who buys an insurance for a 200 do... moreYou obviously didn't get my point. I don't expect anyone to buy insurance for a cheap phone. I wrote about insurance to state, that it's important to protect ourselves against unexpected damages. Sturdy phone is well-protected against bending. Not-so-sturdy - isn't. If phone is relatively prone to dectructive bending, and protection against it is simple and inexpensive (from manufacturer's pint of view), such phone is in this respect poorly designed.
When we buy things, we don't expect them to be broken due to our recklessness.
Thing is that sometimes we are reckless, and we damage things not intentionally.
And ist's good when manufacturers take it into consideration when their new products are designed. And they design and make these products in the way that brings certain level of protection against such "not intentional dangers". Metal frame (or all-plastic case, as in Poco F1) would do the trick. It's not rocket science. And it doesn't take a lot of money.

Wich way please?
have you ever read a performance/SoC review?
It is very good
".. in terms of raw CPU performance
its GPU falls well short of ..." SD710 !!
But the most important part is:
"In fact the Adreno 612 is barely an improvement
over the Adreno 512 in the Snapdragon 660"
(S: vivo V15 Pro Hands on review - by GSM Arena)
Even the SD670 has much better Adreno 615 GPU
( only Adreno 616 GPU in SD710 & 712 )
That means SD675 is not a well balanced SoC for sure!
SD 660 / SD710 are much better balanced SoCs this way,
... but we have to wait for efficiency results of 675 as well.
So a bit less hype on that misleading SD675, Xiaomi fans!

What an opportunity from Xiaomi, everything is acceptable and respectful at that price. Other than that i was hoping Amoled panel for the Pro version, for some reasons Usb-C is deal breaker, for some reason Display quality, or performance even Camera. All i need to know is how good the LTPS display the highest quality lcd technology compared to Amoled display. I will wait Gsmarena sample pictures and videos for that.

bignap, 28 Feb 2019lol many people who cannot afford this phone or already own... moreWell, sh!t happens from time to time, though we don't want it. That's why people buy insurance. That's why people use protective gear in certain circumstances, that's why people tend to buy cars with better crash-test results, even if these cost more.
And that's why it's a whole lot better to have reasonably rigid phone.

hmm, 28 Feb 2019Dont compare something that cant be compared to.
Poco F... moreI can compare whatever i want.
Yea, i know, they could have just made it fully plastic. Most people use cases anyway. Glass just looks good and thats it, but they put a glass on since people do prefer it more i guess. And flagships have a rigid aluminum frame and mostly dont bend.
Yeah, there are no pressure plates or anything on zacks tests. But, i have owned both the redmi note 3 and poco f1, both of which he tested. I also did try to bend both. The note 3's screen pops out from the back cover, while a little more force might snap it, of course i never went that far. But the f1 didnt have any of those problems.

But thats something you guys dont seem to understand when comparing things that cant be compared to.

lol many people who cannot afford this phone or already owned other latest phones, are discouraging other persons with the bending criteria.
People will buy this phone to use it not to torture it. A phone can be dropped, scratched or pressurized but nobody will bend their phone willingly unless he/she is a psychopath.
