USA Mate 9 user, 09 Aug 2019Here we are ... Mid- August 2019 in the USA and my Mate 9 s... moreafter many promises..........sure looks like we are screwed in the us getting the emui ( update as well as any further security updates past march 2019. sad!.......... screw huawei!

Here we are ... Mid- August 2019 in the USA and my Mate 9 still using EMUI 8 (Oreo 8).
Still stuck with the March 2019 Security update!
After months of empty promises from Huawei I've given up thinking the EMUI 9 or 9.1 or new security updates will ever reach our Mate 9 phones in the USA.
VERY SAD as I've really liked my Mate 9.
I guess Huawei has given up on the USA market and does not care about future sales or reputation here!

NO EMUI 9 (PIE) update yet for me either. :(
This waiting game is hard on the nerves, lmao.
Can't wait to see this update roll out in the USA.
One would think it will be any day now.

Still no update on my Mate 9. Bought it unlocked on Amazon. Runs on T-Mobile in the USA. Hoping for Android 9 so my car can connect wirelessly to android auto.

Just got the 9.0 Pie yesterday...
Woouw That was a big difference in performance. My Mate 9 Pro feels like a Farrari.
Super fast opening apps, and the games runs much more perfect like never before.
When opening the lockscreen with eyescanner, the phone respons in a second.
Overall, the phone is so fantastic with the new 9.0 Pie

Colors a little washed out.... moreso the lcd was the same loke youckan buy from ebay for 30 euros:) all of them were with washedout colors and the brightness was terrible. you can find on ebay genuine but you need to look every day.i brought one original but the backlight was damaged.no luck:)
