geordie81, 02 Mar 2019The s10+ is a thing of beauty to hold, i have the note 9 an... moreDefinitely a beauty that ticks all the boxes, although I was put off by news of the pill cutout back in November, (that and my S6 was getting worse for wear) just before Black Friday (luckily for me), so I decided to get the Note9 & have no regrets.
Granted it's class leading & not least the video/ photo selfie cam & better than it's notched competitors & I agree 5G isn't worth it for the next couple of years.
I'm sure it's the same situation as the Note9 (direct from Samsung) where you get a month to return if you aren't 100% satisfied, hope you get those bundled wireless earbuds ;) & please let us know how you get on in the 'S10+ User Opinions' / jealous hater comments (I'm looking at getting the S10/+ for my girlfriend):

S7 to S8 was jawdropping...then S8 to S9 was nothing, same as now S9 to S10. My S8 is still running strong, so point buying another one.

The s10+ is a thing of beauty to hold, i have the note 9 and the size by comparison is crazy. Having played with it in the samsung store in London, i will now for sure pick one up, the pill cutout camera will take a little getting used to but its not anywhere near as annoying to the notch, i did want the bigger 5G model, but given its cost, lack of 5g in 95% of the uk with 5g only getting ready to roll out to a few cities in the next month or so, and its limited availability i will skip it. 5g phones are not really needed yet for the masses, perhaps start releasing them in the 3rd quarter of the year slowly instead

Well, while all technology (i.e specs & features) and the Android OS become the same among any brands today, I consider the User Interface as the final assessment. Which UI will provide me simplicity, stability, security against iOS.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2019there are a lot of choices this year, in general S10 public... moreThe S10 has some serious improvements over many generations of Samsung smartphones like larger battery, excellent battery management, excellent cameras with that super wide included, the best screen in any smartphone (again), excellent HDR video, very good improvement in the UI and Samsung features, class leading front camera that can shoot upto 4k etc.
The MicroSD and headphone Jack are added bonuses.
It does many things and it does them mostly pretty well.

Expected. The phone is a huge improvement over the S8, and a big improvement over the Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S10e will be the best seller, however, at least in my opinion.

Expext that Huawei will be very aggressive with their next flagship. They can't lose spots in their local market.
