P70 is actually a better performer than the SD660 in real life in almost every aspect.
It's just that if rooting, custom ROMs etc is your thing, then MTK is a big NO. If not, P70 is better in CPU, Efficiency, AI and at par in graphics, in real life scenarios.

But wait then it will affect the sales of RN 7 Pro. So Xiaomi thought why bother lets release the 12 MP version in India.

The only downside that it will have is its software bugs and HD Netflix support. I hope Xiaomi will nail it on the software this time. They've delivering good hardware to us but with disappointing software. But still, RN7 Pro is great device and is the best for its price segment. It will never be beaten any time soon on that price.

which are cheap in price and performance as compared to proper Snapdragon SoCs . Doing this they are trying to compete with Xiaomi and they were successful in some.extent in previous quarter by producing hype that mediatek is equally good as Snapdragon.
When try to find comparison between sd 660 and p70 on google in most of the article it is between twisted SD 660 in realme 2 pro , max m2 pro and p70 on realme U1 by doing this they are producing misguidance in people.
Some people here still hoping realme 3pro will give SD 712 which by actually observin facts is impossible but they can give underclocked SD 675 like 660...lol
