Earlier one would crave for compact phones. Now one would crave for a phone without a notch or holes in the screen. Compact phones have gone through way of dinosaurs and now only the Black Shark and Sony retain notchless, holeless interfaces. Hope things go a full circle and sensible, beautiful, ergonomic design returns with the focus on battery life, one hand usability, mobility and light weight.

But in India there's this perspective that RAM makes the phone faster/slower. That extra cameras equals better photos. And higher resolution means better display quality.

By that reasoning, the iPhone Xr is horrible (bad screen, slow performance, horrible photos)... but the reality is different, it's one of the fastest phones, with one of the best cameras, and has an excellent screen. Granted the price sucks either way.

I do like that they value practical things like microSD, dualSIM, headphone jack though. I just wished they also valued audio/speaker quality too. That's why when ex-flagship devices drop down in price, they still opt to buy mid-range devices instead (for the same price) because they're insistant on the spec-list or perceived quality rather than actual quality. It's going to take some time and effort to move beyond this faux-marketing and change the public opinion.

everything made by Xiaomi is outstanding.
They sells awesome devices at reasonable prices compared to stupid Samsung where phone is made for 420 and solf for 1600.
                    Thats just ridiculous and crazy.

Even if the RAM and the camera are not in their top priority list, they should be getting more than enough RAM and a decent camera given that they bought it from those two brands that offer excellent price to performance ratio

SohailSays, 02 Mar 2019Pocophone 2 is what India is waiting for.It was the Mi9, secondly the Mix4, then the BlackShark2, and now the PocoPhone 2. Next they'll be waiting for the QSD 855 powered Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.

In India, the most important things about a phone is the price, then the RAM, then the amount of cameras.

Although I must say that I am personally excited to see the v2.0 and v3.0 of the dual-joysticks from the BlackShark Helo.

                          we want mi 9

Pocophone 2 is what India is waiting for.
