I would prefer to have top and bottom bezels, no more than 1/4" (or 6,3 mm), but only in conjunction with loud stereo speakers (and Dolby).
Keeping bezels, would be easy to have front camera too.
A pop-up camera has only one real advantage - keeping the lens clean of fingerprints or humain grease from the ear. But, this means a mechanism, the protection wallet case must have an opening, dirt can go inside and damage the mechanical part, etc.

I personally think OnePlus is killing its brand image by copying the design of not so famous and got down well with, Oppo and Vivo. I was personally a fan of OnePlus because of their no links to Oppo or Vivo for designs before OnePlus 6T. Not a fan of pop-up camera either.

It's hard to be an idiot, I know, but almost all previous OnePlus smartphones were based on Oppo designs with minimal changes. You know they have the same parent company, BBK.

If this does have a pop up selfie camera then I'll be a happy bunny. I really want a phone with a pop up selfie camera (don't care about the drawbacks) but so far the only ones available have terrible Android skins.

GSMarena, really? At what angle does it look like Vivo V15 Pro to you? Vivo has pop-up camera at the very left top end of the device while the leaked pic has it more towards the centre. It's also not completely at the centre, so not Oppo either.

Two things that's a deal breaker for me
1. Lack of 3.5mm Jack which clearly can be done
2. Only 1080p amoled display as pentile artifacts are much more visible at the screen size/pixel density
I personally much prefer a pop up camera as I don't like the hole punch and I almost never use the front camera anyway.
Even if OnePlus did make the best phone. I think their past behaviour has been awful eg false promises, populism, over hyped marketing, I won't be buying their devices.
