This could be a dissapoinment of winter for me. I was expecting compact replacement of my now aging redmi 3, not another gigantic showel. Such a dick move Xiaomi.

I would buy Redmi 7 if priced same as Redmi Note 7 and with same spec but small screen (probably just less than 6.00")

But large screens are becoming the norm and people prefer them. The majority of people probably buy the redmi series for its affordable price, not because it has a short screen.

What the hell?? Redmi series were always smaller versions of Redmi Notes. Now they decide, that Redmis are the retarded cousins of Redmi Notes??
I was waiting for the announcements of Redmi 7, thinking it will be a compact version (5-5.5 inches) of Redmi Note 7. Instead, I see this Castrated Shovel 7© which doesn't even fit into a pocket.
What's up with these gigantic shovels of a phones lately?

So, the non-Note version of the series is now wider (76.4mm vs 75.2mm) than the Note version? Could there be some inaccuracy in the leak?

am currently using redmi 4X for 2 years (snapdragon 435 3gb ram/32gb storage)
