These people who whine about them the most have never owned any of the Xiaomi devices and are just haters. They believe yellow fake news and spam it everywhere like it's the truth.

I really hope that miUI for the world has no bloatware/advertisements at all. I hope the file management is operated by miUI itself, not using third app. I hope miUI has more stability and security better. Oh so many hope as I am still loving Xiaomi brand although I love Samsung for the UI.

Face unlock and fingerprint combo should be standard on every Android phone to make up for each of it's weakness. So that nobody can unlock your phone with fingerprint when you asleep.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2019I'm still mad about them quietly introducing ads into their... morei believe they have since given an option to turn it off. i am not getting ads anymore on my pocophone f1 after i opted out of "personalized ad recommendations". although i opted out of it recently, i personally did not find the ads they used to serve on the device intrusive as they usually appear at the bottom of otherwise almost empty pages- like on a subsetting menu where there are only a few items on the list and are all on the top half portion of the screen.

My dream is to be able to set 5 icons in a row in MIUI's home screen... I have such a simple dream, but Xiaomi doesn't want my dream to come true until now... I hope in MIUI 10 it will be possible!!!
The funniest thing is that in Pocophone F1 (which is cheaper than my Mi 8) it is possible to change number of icons in columns and lines ;D
