Huawei definitely a loser here with inferior design and price tag, you need to be really hardcore fan of Huawei to choose Mate X instead of Fold

The inward layout design from Samsung looks like a win! For beauty, it is just perception, some may looks X better and some may looks Fold better, but for the practical design, Samsung wins,hands down!

I'll wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation when hopefully they'll add those.
Just like the Note Edge, the first model is unfinished and needs working.
But quality and design like, it kicks huawei just by looking at it.

What make X fails ultimately is the component placement. Huawei x appeal to millennials who only wants looks, bores easily, and did not think much.

The fact that Samsung is working on a Mate X clone tells you what they really think.
The only thing worse than releasing a bad design like the Galaxy Fold is to defend it. Not sure if Samsung fanboys realize the more they defend it on the basis of infold, the more difficult it is for Samsung to release an out-fold without looking like they blantly copied Huawei.
Just admit it, the Mate X is an objectively better device, the sooner Samsung admit it and start copying Huawei, the better off it'll be.

Personally there all cool devices. But latest rumours suggest that Samsung are working on New galaxy folds. One like a mate x design because thats better IMO. And a cheaper one to go against the new Motorola Razed. Interesting times ahead

Hey, Samsung lies. Huawei Mate X design is better than all competitors. And you will see that Samsung will copy it in their next models.

1. samsung never had a problem releasing screens (bended) that are most prone to be damaged.
2. Saying inward bending is better then attaching another screen outside is contradictory.
3. No notch, space for big and multiple sensors doubles as selfie, how is it worse compared to samsung one.
4. I was never fan even of cases which you got to open just to get to screen content, how is that more practical in this age when every second counts...
Not that there aren't people who would like that design, it's just not majority.

I agree with Samsung. In addition to that, if you want lay the smartfold (I will call it like that) from Huawei, it won't be flat, but inclined. The way Samsung designed there smartfold will allow to have a comfortable virtual keyboard on one half of the screen and the other half (where the camera is) will be the view (for example email or text). I think Samsung did a very good job, but too expensive (The S10+ and little sisters too). By the way, is there a pen for Samsung Fold?
