Sony is the best smartphone ever... Xperia 1 is my next mobile after my iphone X

Ip68 was sharp or casio for starters, 16:9 means 1.77:1, there we're phones with 1:66:1, they were most popular ones at that time. 16:9 had been done decades ago, adding 54 pixels at top is not an achievement of any sorts.... Especially when standard was around since decades

I'm really in difficulty choosing between Xperia 1 and S10+.
I really like the tall display but there's no 3.5mm jack, while the S10+ has that horrible double punch hole selfie..

There is support to stretch... moreWatch c4etech on YT, also you're free to Google 18:9 content... 16:9 is DVD standard and has been around since decades, Sony wasn't first to use it. Nexus had 480*800 p display while x10 had 480*854. You'd expect people to see that extra length worth whooping 54 pixels right?
P.s which monster watches Netflix on phones? Squinting the eyes and wasting battery with that 4k display?

looking forward to buying one. Kudos to Sony for doing something different, and in a way future proofing, as the CE industry switches over to TV's with 21.9 ratio in 2-3 years from now, their phones are now ahead of the game.
