Sony Xperia 1 pre-orders are up, will cost £849 in UK
When Sony introduced the Xperia 1 at MWC, it didn’t tell us any pricing or market details. Finally, the device arrived for pre-order at Clove in the United Kingdom and we know how much the flagship will cost - £849 for the 6/128 GB variant.
Sony bets a lot on its ultra-tall device. It has three 12 MP cameras, 4K OLED screen with 21:9 ratio and CinemaWide display and Dolby Atmos sound. It also has Snapdragon 855 chipset, a 3,300 mAh battery with USB-PD capabilities and Gorilla Glass 6 both on the front and back.
While Clove is giving you the chance to pre-order the Xperia 1 in Black, Purple, Gray, or White, the retailer won’t ship the smartphone until end of May. At least it is SIM Free & Unlocked and comes with the usual 24-month warranty.

I don't think so. In XZ3 they have put same screen as seen in Bravia TV. Or am i wrong?

4k will become more obvious if you wear VR gear. Having said that, still I don't get Sony's USP for this new flagship. Much better options available by others.

Oh dear oh dear Sony doesn't get it! It'll be a shame to see them go! It's not fair on thier employees losing jobs because top bosses aren't listening to customers.
