A 20MP camera can make about 50MB file in RAW!
So the 192 can do up to 500MB!

I see. True power revealed. I guess this is the reason traditional camera makers, Canon Nikon etc., still has not bothered with smartphone SoCs. They are overkill for the data rate of the large camera sensors .

LG Superfan, 10 Mar 2019Should it be 0.2? No. as you're taking about size. the LENGTH and the WIDTH of the pixel is being considered..
So... let's talk some Bayer... when the binning pixel happens. a 48 MP unit has 0.8um length and width. but while binned. it's being larger to 1.6um length and width. like having 2x2=4
So since we're halving a pixel's height and with. it gets SMALLER by 4 times it's size.
wanna test it out? take a square page for notes. and fold it horizontally and vertically. that's how large a pixel is when binning is off. and UNFOLD IT to turn on binning

Kiyasuriin, 10 Mar 2019Hm... with 48MP cameras having 0.8micrometer size of a pixe... moreShould it be 0.2?

vrvly, 10 Mar 2019better 12x stack of 12mp than no stack 48mp, easy way to se... moreThat's completely untrue. It just depends on the sensor tech and what not. A 48mp sensor can really do great things. But the 12mp are generally more flexible. But you can also change the resolution anyway.

I think its better to have one internally rotating camera with 2 windows, one at main camera and one at selfie location.
This way, even the processor is spared of useless processing.

But still I wouldn't like it to be 192MP LOL. :D

better 12x stack of 12mp than no stack 48mp, easy way to see it is to compare view20 samples in 12mp and 48mp, differences in detail are both ways, but per pixel, 12mp is min 200% better.

Human eye is 576 megapixel so 192 megapixel is just normal.
