Some Qualcomm chipsets support up to 192MP cameras

The chip manufacturer recently revised some of the camera specs posted on its page, making them more detailed.

What would be the pixel size? 0.001μ? And dont even ask about file size but it would be cool to have a camera with this high resolution image the details it will capture

    I don't see any formation of 10 pixels that will successfuly bin into ONE bigger pixel that will look normal. I see only either too long or too wide options.
    (or even better. Hexadecimal bayer! 16 into 1) this with a HxD binning 192 MP camera can revert to 12 MP for simple mode. and pro mode can choose it can be 48 MP or 192 for REALLY detailed images.

      192 / 4 = 48 MP

      192 / 4² = 192 / 16 = 12 MP
      This allows you to shoot pictures with 12 MP resolution effectively, but with superpixels composed of 16 smaller pixels. If one small pixel was 0.8 microp, the larger pixel would have an astoundingly huge size of 3.2 microp. Imagine the low-light possibilities...

          For anyone wondering, a 192MP image in 16x9 format is approx 94,131 X 167,342. About 87 times the height and width of 1080p

            Exmor R imx411 = mid format 151MP (diagonal 66.7mm)

            For the price Apple charges, should use this sensor.

                  So a 192MP unit squeezes to 21.4MP unit when binning? As I don't see any possible way to bin 10 pixels into 1

                    first thing I turned on my brand new phone, I went to the camera setting and make it 1080p 16:9. I would prefer camera that can focus faster instead of blur.

                        Most full-frame cams don't even have 1/4 of that resolution.
                        Imagine the pixel size of a 1/2" sensor with this resolution.

                            Sony should make some Deca-Bayer Exmor sensor for their next flagship Sony phone. 192MP and real reso since it's a Deca-Bayer is 19.2MP
