BigDisplay, 11 Mar 2019I really dont understand why they doing this... If they did... moreThere been many phones released during MWC, and people long gone forgot Huawei M series, S10 pretty much smashes it in camera department, so marketing job is too lure customers intrestes to new releases whatever the cost is :)

Tommy Chhangte, 13 Mar 2019Then explain why are there Huawei logos on those pictures. ... moreDoes Apple state that their commercial pictures are not taken with a iPhone?
They never said they where taken with or without the P30.
It's just a marketing image to address the zoom option of a upcoming phone.

True or not, is obvious there's a war against Huawei, mostly because of the 5G antenas and other hardware Huawei became leader, in Portugal a newspaper even have an article saying Huawei stole a Portuguese guy living in the USA with a utility patent for a supposed revolutionary new camera, not mentioning any information about what the camera is revolutionary about, just slamming Huawei, it's too obvious this is more about who controls the 5G infrastructure, the power and billions of those contracts!

s-pen pusher, 12 Mar 2019per gsma, huawei should have properly "marked" or indicated... moreThey don't deserve to be blamed for using DSLR photos to showing the features of their future flagship phones. It was never implied that those photos were taken by a smartphone camera so of course they weren't "hoping" for anything. In the past using DSLR images for phone advertisements was never considered to be inappropriate(especially when the smartphone camera was still horrible even during daytime), but after some large companies got "caught" for doing what used to be perfectly fine, it suddenly became a huge issue.. And now, apparently manufactures are only allowed to use phone cameras to create teaser for their phones. What a bizarre world we live in!

AlexG, 12 Mar 2019They do not make such mistakes... There is no honor in this... moreLiterally 5 phone OEMs are known to do this...and I say "known" as meta data can be manipulated so who is to say others are not doing it too.
At the end of the day, all this does is fuel the fanboy culture which leads to sales and free publicity that will not benefit the consumer in any even remote way, enjoy that fact regardless what OEM you chose to support for whatever reason you may have.

Akinaro, 12 Mar 2019So if I make picture of phone for advertising it automatica... moreper gsma, huawei should have properly "marked" or indicated it in the poster that those were just mere representations and not actually taken with the p30. the company had the ethical responsibility to do so. what huawei did instead is publish those teasers and hoped nobody finds they were lying; and only upon being caught red-handed have they explained. these chinese companies should realize that, unlike their local market, the rest of the world practices ethics, honesty, and fairness in marketing.

k0vasz, 11 Mar 2019If you state that P30 will come with a fantastic zoom camer... moreSo if I make picture of phone for advertising it automatically imply that it was taken using another phone? What type of reasoning it that?
Just look at ANY phone ad and you will see MILLIONS of images advertising it that are not taken using it... why no one complain about that?
Or why dont you complain that in advertising you see are 3D renders of phone NOT ACTUAL PHONE. It show fake unrealistic device with tweaked screen ratio with smaller bezels and with perfect fit of elements... not posible to get in actual device.
Also those images show that phone will have zoom option... as any normal person would get it from looking at those images...
Misleading is that people complain about something that they made up in the first place... No one said no one wrote that it was made using phone, it advertise zoom option... as circle show it...
If it would show macro image of atom you would also complain about it?
