I asked another guy this : are you the owner of huawei company? If not, why are you protecting them?? Just because you bought one of their devices?
Protect yourself first against cons and liars like this brand!
The glossy colorful design doesn't full me!

And I thought GSMArena was better than this jumping on click bait wagon, I know huawei made a lot of mistakes and have some many controversies like the glue screen on mate 20 pro, P20 Pro cheating on aututo speed test, Huawei Poland ceo being arrested, stealing a robot arm from American carrier, and this whole “spying” for Chinese government allegation, but these pictures with Chinese inspiration words are clearly just marketing pictures for the upcoming P30 pro 10x zoom feature, the Huawei marketing CEO in his post never said or hinted that those were taken by P30 pro

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2019Do you even know what a Kinect is? Next time research a lit... moreYes, I know what a Kinect is. I got the very first one with xbox 360.
And, my idea of my short answer to you is that, although apple "invented" the word "notch" (I can give you that, they are good at it), the notch itself was "invented" before.
If you are referring to "face unlock", I don't believe that anyone can think that Apple invented that.
And the idea of my original post is that, when Huawei or other "inferior" brands improve existing technologies is called "copycat", when Apple does it it's called "invention"(see the ridiculous patent war they lost with everyone)

Shui8, 12 Mar 2019There are people who fall for this kind of advertising? Its... moreThere's no reason for a person to fall for this kind of illustration of a brand's upcoming product unless the person himself is unaware that these photos are most probably taken by a DSLR camera. I mean clearly, these are meant for marketing purposes, I'm sure there's a disclaimer right at the bottom of the advertisement (usually this will appear in the official advertisement itself) saying that the features u see in the advertisement may not reflect to how it is doing day to day. Don't know why these people below me are talking bad about them like as if this is the first time they've seen such a thing. And before those keyboard warriors be like coming at me with hate, let me tell u something: I'm not trying to defend HUAWEI (though it may look like as if I am), I'm just stating the fact that every company does it, no doubt, and it's not something only the Chinese brands are doing. In the end, these people are just trying to be racist and I guess it's coming from that mentality that the whites stand above all, which is incredibly stupid

Shui8, 12 Mar 2019There are people who fall for this kind of advertising? Its... moreExactly my thought, thank you. It's totally acceptable for companies to use photos from DSLR to simply show what kind of features their upcoming phones will have. Huawei never stated that those photos were taken by the phone nor even remotely implied so, but people are freaking out because the article contains the phrase "taken by DSLR". People, this is just a teaser/promotional material, the actual phone is not even out yet!

There are people who fall for this kind of advertising? Its an illustration to show its function, nothing less.
It goes to all brands, u can just barely see it all ads are taking with DSLR lol. Not to mention 7mp front camera stick on high resolution billboard on highway and proudly says 'shot on iphone' lol. And this kind of thing are done by their marketing department.
Seriously wait for the real review of the camera, i'll hold my judgement later. Notes aside, P30 Pro will using 1/1.8 inch sensor size Sony IMX607 for its main camera, which resulting in 2.24 micron pixel. That alone has a superior hardware than the rest of the competition.

But only a promotion for an up coming feature. Like how probably every other manufacturer shoot their commercial with a real camera to show of slow motion hdr and other stuff. I guess gsmarena wants to go to the clixk bait route , too bad one of the few sites I still visit for news.
