No, these photos weren't taken with the Huawei P30

11 March 2019
DSLR photos used once again.

I will not believe in any commercials nowadays. I will only comment after testing the actual handset by myself. Marketing materials nowadays are great but not convincing at all.

[deleted post]But gsmarena loves them :-):-)

From all phone manufacturers Huawei and LG deliver the most innovation and then others follow (Double camera, Wide-angle, etc), excluding Google Pixel post processing magic.

Samsung and Apple don't deserve to be a leader in Smartphone market place, for simple reason that even tough they come up with more polished product, they generally fall behind in trends. (Macro mode, Super-charging anyone??)

Just too bad LG have the good Idea but they mess up on delivery date / price / very unpolished sometimes.

Huawei might get ahead again at this time of the year :D

lel. DoNt YoU GuYs HaVe BraIN?! seriously. for one sec think clearly with your brain.
First they didnt even mention its taken with huawei phone
Second, you guys seriously thought that they go and find any volcano erupting and took the photos? i mean seriouusssly!?

Come on guys. i swear the the intelligence of human is slowly degrading!

I dont remember huawei saying they took the photos with the P30.. its just gsmarena assuming they did as usual

How is Huawei exactly cheating here? Yeah the banners seem to imply those pictures were taken with the P30 but it is nowhere stated either so to scream cheat is not really fair. The phone hasn't been launched yet so we don't know what it is capable of so If the P30 is released and the quality of the zoom is close to the quality of these, we should be more than satisfied

Here’s the actual original post on Weibo (Chinese Twitter): https://weibo.com/1839167003/HjXY2AK77

Not a single person in the comments actually thought that this piece of promo was meant to show the P30’s sample photos. They’re using stock photos to put some "inspirational" quotes on top of them as an ad. Must be a slow news day for the GSMArena. SMH.

Henry, 11 Mar 2019Samsung, Huawei, who else did this kind of trickery?Just SAMSUNG only will use this kind of tricks to marketing their phones camera performance.

HUAWEI, its CEO and others never said that those pictures are taken by the P30 series. Do not misleading peoples.

Wow I am really surprised that nobody know that those were clearly just a marketing picture I mean most people in here cannot read Chinese, they never said even the ceo him self in his post didn’t say that those pictures samples were taken by p30 pro, seriously GSMA arena don’t you have a Chinese translator in your team, it’s an obvious thing

It's a classic marketing tactic. Every company does it. Kind of trivial imo.

Where does it say on the marketing ad that these pictures were taken from the phone? Where does it say that? Who actually thinks they took a photo of an erupting volcano from the air with the phone, LOL? Dumb Trump Americans? You guys know this is why stock photos exist, right?
