4k video is disaster !!! They do not allow us to have 4k 60p like all other flagships. Speakers are joke. Emui do not have many options and features. Bootloader is locked. Huawei will not see mu money anymore.

LCD of XZ2 Premium is not same quality of LCD used by XA2. The oled used by Iphone Xs is not same quality of Oled used by A8+. Chinese brands do not use the expensive oled types.
2) memory ram and rom have different suppliers, not same speed for all.
3) camera : except Huawei, most of chinese bramds often use isocell for second cam and selfie. Isocell are cheaper than Exmor.
4) Companies like Sony, Samsumg and Lg have battery division. Much more reliable than smaller battery companies that supply to chinese brands.
5) ip rating is hardware and certification that needs to be paid
6) companies like Samsung, LG, Htc, Sony, Huawei, Motorola and Apple have to pay licenses of tech they use. Chinese brands are always copying. It is cheaper.
Extra: Just the bill of materials of s10+ is $420. This does not include human workforce, taxes, distribution, marketing , P/D and profits. Xiaomi phones cost about $500 and this includes all. Do you think the rest is gonna cost just $80?

Slower performance,slower wireless charging, laggy os, most of features in emui are copied from miui, worse build quality,bigger notch,worse build quality (the only flagship that failed at bend test exept ones with pop up camera) bigger chin, thicker body,faulty screens,worse selfie camera,colors are not accurate(deltaE 4.7 while mi 9 has 1.5),the stereo speakers looks cheap,Qhd only kills the battery,worse selfie camera
But the most important thing it's way more expensive with 400$ difference

Thing is, although I cannot "prove" they are spying, I'd be more surprised if they weren't. I also would like to know what people mean by "spying", because I don't doubt that they are collecting tons of data, as does Samsung/Google etc.

MadMel, 11 Mar 2019software is Android with EMUI skin on top and if one wants ... moreI don't own a Huawei device. But I have seen a lot of reviews, and there are quite a few little quirks. I'd give examples, but I have forgotten most. Be aware also, I don't have an android nor Apple device at the minute, so some of the stuff may be lost on me. All that said, there are issues and concerns raised, even if only for small areas, that card undeniably applicable to many.
