So, I decided that do NOT wait for Bada 2.0 and today i'm just simple upgraded my WAVE 2 and it's working fine. There is a trick how to connect to Kies and you will see that you have the latest firmware ! Enjoy !

Let's face it, all brands have faulty units, if you do not follow appropriate channels, only you can be to blame for having faulty logic.

definitely, there must be some good reason for this phone to be held in top 3 rating of gsmarena since past 18 months.. its a great device, i regret to have sold mine..

I am using WAVE II....and I am Indian resident..I would like to update my cell with BADA 2.0...also want apps like..."WHATSAPP"; "SKYPE" and other like sybean or Android...apps.....
Await to get clear ot it ASAP....

Also I will never buy again samsung phone! Even if he has android. With my 8500 I'm having difficulty during calls, sometimes I'm waiting for few seconds to my phone unblocks etc. Yes yes i tried switching from 2g to 3g and automatic settings for network choice but nothing worked, and yes i reset phone, no changes! Never again BADA, never again SAMSUNG! And waiting for Bada 2.0 for one year long, way to go samsung, millions disappointed!

I do agree with person who mentioned that Bada2.0 is the worst experience. I do have Wave3 phone for test purposes and comparing Bada1.2 with Bada2.0 is impossible. In all ways 2.0 is worse than 1.2. It even has less widgets and doesnt have email widget.
It looks smoother and nicer, but believe me - this is just something Im really sad about :(

Bada 2.0 is THE WORST mobile experience EVER! After using 1.0 and 1.2 and upgrading to 2.0 I literally wanted to smash my S8500! There was no comfort in using the phone so after 3 hours of reading and watching how-to-videos, I happily downgraded to 1.2
Bada 2.0 is truly horrible and I would rather brick my phone than use this OS
