Bada 2.0 update not making it to older Wave phones before 2012

me too. :( I was waiting for it months ago. I think, I just think, that this is a marketting strategy of Samsung. Everyone could've seen by now that with the Samsung Wave 3 sporting only a single-core processor and only a 5 megapixel camera, it's only main feature is that it comes with Bada 2.0 right out of the box. If Samsung would release the Bada 2.0 update for the older Wave models then there's only a few things left that sets the new Wave apart from the old ones. I understand. But hasn't Samsung come to think of it that if I would like to get the new Wave, then I'd get it no matter what. If I don't then I won't if I'm only planning to count on the update. I'm happy with my Samsung Wave, the first wave. I'm only waiting for the update. This move of Samsung didn't help their sales. They only pissed off loyal users like me who are counting on their word.

Won't be buying another samsung product ever in my life.have been cheated once.won't happen again samsung I assure you tht.I've convinced all my friends not to go for samsung phones.looking forward to buying nozomi this year.

Made the mistake of buying a bada phone a year ago.
STAY AWAY!
Samsung keeps us bada users disappointed..no apps..no voip..if you buy the s8600 you'll regret it..

i hate my wave 533 hate...n' wt a good news...stuck on bored bada 1.1 :s:s with my very damn slow phone...i'm gonna kill my self...i wish i 'd a quad core processor 4 my mobile with 2 GB ram wiz adreno 400 :d that's gonna make me happy :d...my slow phone made me sick.

In Poland information about the update appeared in Kies today so in some countries Samsung fulfilled its promise :)

I'm feeling cool because I have a good bada 2.0 updatable device. =) I hope that would be on my device after a long patience, at first quarter of 2012 as they've announced.

Bada users have been munching on this humble pie for so long now. Honestly, Samsung just needs to give bada the attention it fully deserves. The speed at which their big,evil droids receive updates justifies that the older waves are playing second fiddle to the big ,spoilt boys! I just hope this official statement will bring this bada 2.0 melodrama to a grinding halt. After all, March aint far away and we are watching you, Samsung!

No, they did release Bada 2.0. They only released it to Poland and Hungary. Why even bother at all? Samsung really can't make a single software thing right. Ever.

not enough words to describe my disappointment... bada OS and wave devices develop very slow and not with the latest hardware support. it is obvious that samsung brings this on market to hit low cost budgets. i am sad that i was a big fan of sammy's bada project hoping that it will grow slick. it's a let down. Goodbye bada, hello android.

all right than samsung, my current wave 8500 is the last samsung phone i ever bought! enought of this bulls**t!! im not gonna wait any longer. we are not immortal, samsung! i want to enjoy the smartphone i spent money for! if u dont care, samsung i dont care either!
