          If I understand it correct this phone looked like the solution of a cheap value for money Brazil produced phone but failed to deliver on this.

              High taxes and costs favour importation. For example, if I want an SD450 / 4GB / 64GB device, I can import a Lenovo K5 Note for around USD130, shipping included.
              Even if Customs do tax it in 60% (yes, that is possible and happened to me a few times) we're still talking about USD 210, which is about half the MSRP of a Brazil-made Asus Zenfone Max Shot 4/64.
              That's why I import.

                              Still, not much of a revival IMO since if you're a camera enthusiast, you're left between OIS or the jack.
                              I'm starting to dislike the segmentation strategy. I'd expect a pro or plus version to add to the nonpro spec sheet not improve one thing and discard the other.
