If I understand it correct this phone looked like the solution of a cheap value for money Brazil produced phone but failed to deliver on this.

High taxes and costs favour importation. For example, if I want an SD450 / 4GB / 64GB device, I can import a Lenovo K5 Note for around USD130, shipping included.
Even if Customs do tax it in 60% (yes, that is possible and happened to me a few times) we're still talking about USD 210, which is about half the MSRP of a Brazil-made Asus Zenfone Max Shot 4/64.
That's why I import.

Also, have you noticed that some responses show up before other older responses?

Still, not much of a revival IMO since if you're a camera enthusiast, you're left between OIS or the jack.
I'm starting to dislike the segmentation strategy. I'd expect a pro or plus version to add to the nonpro spec sheet not improve one thing and discard the other.

Jack, 15 Mar 2019Correction: P30 pro And if you read again I said "most" :3 P30 will have headphone jack while the P30 PRO will have the IR blaster. And as I have suggested "check the P30" for the revival of the jack. FYI, Mate 20 has it.
