Huawei P30 Pro shows up in Sunrise Red, non-Pro model will have a 3.5mm jack

I hate device without 3.5 headphone jack so I will not pay and a dollar to get one. Thanks for Samsung for the premium phones.

    Sunrise red is so beautiful! Huawei does such a great job with the gradient colors. Definitely one of the best red colors on a phone I have ever seen.

      Nice color but as always Huawei will disappoint us by not bringing it to nordics like they did with mate 20 X and green color of the pro version. Both of these not to be found in the local market.
      Btw I will be buying the phone because the battery has all the juice I need and camera wise will be on the top spot but if they really want to dethrone Samsung they need to come up with something unexpected because Samsung monitor and 855 > top camera.
      1080 even though it won't make a difference in praksis is a bad marketing Choice because it will be mentioned in every review.
      ( Personally I prefer a bit better battery life and a bit cheaper price than a bit better screen) but of course that's me.
      Let's see if they have more aces under their sleeve or we have already seen everything :)

          The colours are nice but jack destroys te whole beauty of a phone.
          Such ancient analog technology shouldnt have any space in a modern cell phone.

Now if they get the software processing right.. ultimate camera smartphone of 2019 until Mate 30 Pro.

                  I opened images of the bottom of these 2 phones, put it side by side and adjusted the magnification so that the size of the Type-C port becomes the same on both. Holy crap P30 Pro is such a thick phone, not XZ2 Premium thick but certainly more than every other flagship released in 2019. I would be disappointed if Pro didn't come with OIS this time around. Let's see if they can really improve the camera significantly over P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro..

                    I don't agree with Huawei's thinking that IR blaster is for the higher end. Opposite to Xiaomi that IR blaster is for lower end series. IR blaster is very useful now a days.

                      I was thinking whether I should buy P30 or P30 pro, I guess that Huawei made the decision for me. Unless the camera on the non pro turns out to be very bad, I which case I will just wait for another phone with good camera and 3.5mm jack.
                      But it's a very strange decision by Huawei to put the jack on cheaper phone and not on the more expensive one... the normal one will outsell the pro by far

                        What is the point in curved sides?

                          Not my kind of color, but it looks good nonetheless. It's always nice to see something different than usual.

                          The design also looks pretty attractive overall. Nice STB ratio & all that.

                          Also good decision to put the jack on the non-pro. Those who are desperate for it can go for the non-pro version.
