And I assure you that the wireless headphones/earphones I tried were very close to my phone (phone is in my pocket). Yet it was still a latency and quality disgrace.
(You know that ultimately, your "digital" audio has to be converted into analog output. We humans are not digital... This nullifies your argument)

Jack is obsolette and should be removed.
Jack is an analog thing but we dobnt have analog phones anymore.
Try to run vynyl plates on your MP3 its also not possible.
Or put a WHS cassette into a blue ray recorder.

Jack's useless to you because what, you don't want people to have durable headphones and uncompressed, 0 latency audio? I can see how it's obsolete when it gives customers more than wireless audio.

Unskilled people couldnt even know where to... moreUm, you are confused. Unless "unskilled people" means toddlers. And it's not because some people are dumb that everyone is unskilled. I don't think the whole world but phones at your store. They also used to replace the batteries in their TV remotes and other devices with batteries you buy at the store...
Again you misunderstood "dead battery". It means THE BATTERY CAN'T BE CHARGED ANYMORE. Because it's usable life cycle is over.
Apple wanted to make cash on adapters and then sell people their pricier EarPods. They didn't do it for any practical reason besides capitalism. Wired audio is still better, you haven't given any proof. You just say that some individual audio output devices are good. That doesn't make wired audio any worse.
Your last statement is contradictory. You claim that money isn't a problem for people buying 1K$+ devices, but you finally say that it is a problem after all. So I think customers don't want to waste money. So why force them to buy products with a finite life? There's no reason that justifies this.

AnonD-558092, 17 Mar 2019Sealed battery = When the battery dies, the device dies.
A... moreHahaha funny.
Unskilled people couldnt even know where to pit sim card or memory card. That only skilled knows.
If you will run a phone shop you will realize how many people have no idea even about the simplest things you would laugh like mad.
About the sencence dead battery i understand that dead completely and out of juice is different.
But as i said when you charging battery you can charge your buds as well.
Well to be exact here i was right.
And give us concrete proof that wireless audio has surpassed wired audio. Not what you think is. But here's some clues for you:
1- Wireless audio has higher latency.
2- Wireless audio requires more energy.
3- Wireless audio requires audio output that is self-powered (battery). And batteries don't last forever. And they all have sealed batteries. So they are less durable which reduces the value of the said audio output device.
Need more clues?
You said countless times that Wireless audio is superior to wired audio, without any evidence to back it up. You defend the removal of the headphone Jack. You defend sealed batteries.
Obviously poorer durability isn't something you are concerned about. I assume your living is to sell phones right? And if devices last less, you make more cash. So you have an obvious conflict of interest.
If i werent right then why apple removed jack and switched to wireless audio???
They did it because wireless airpods are a lot better than wired ones.
Wireless senheiser are also a lot better than wired ones.
Jabra 65T sports elite are best earbuds of 2018 money can buy and on plenty sites you find they are a lot better option than most wired ones earbuds.
Money arent problem as because billions of peple want to buy Samsung or apple which cost 1000+ bucks.
But i do understand and it often happened in my shop a customer came in with S10+ or Apple XS max for 1600 bucks and was asking for a cover for the screen and the phone.
And when i said it will cost 15 euros he replied if i havent something for up to 2-5 euros.
Now tell me your opinion please. Someone have 1600 euros phone but even a cover for 10-15 euros is too expensive for him.

And "unskilled" people can change a battery just fine. Remove the cover, remove the battery. People used to do that to reach the SIM/MicroSD slots you know.
Seems I'm more awake than you are.
(When I say "battery dies", I mean that's it's literally dead, not out of juice. Like the battery isn't working anymore.)

About the rest when your phone battery dies you simply charge it same you can do with your earbuds no problem.
Only problem is people like you are complete lazy to do so.
About the rest wireless audio surpased wired one few years ago.

We also should have had sealed batteries with unremovable backs ages ago. There's only benefits like:
- Pricier repairs
- Poorer durability
Please stop. Wireless hasn't superseded wired audio. In durability, quality, run times... Wireless is far behind. You can just claim that they are a bit more convenient to use... until you have to charge them.
If you buy good wired headphones, they can last forever. But wireless headphones die when the battery dies. And they all have sealed batteries.
