Anonymous, 20 Mar 2019Infinite computing power. That is wrong on so many levels. That's most probably sarcasm at best. What I'm guessing is that they'll provide us with the power of something like the RTX 2080 Ti to play games, which sounds a lot like NVIDIA's GeForce NOW

if they release a dedicated actual hardware as in a set top box for Stadia (rather than using phones and computers ) which could be a mixmatch affair in terms of performance, knowing that google allows emulation and hoping this could be android based, it could be a good emulation box for everyone especially with standardised controller as a bonus on top of the streaming on cloud gaming which most people are skeptical about

I can't seem to find if they support Android games. They are missing a huge opportunity there as there is a growing base of smartphone game streamers.

If it works on current 4G networks, it would be a breakthrough. But I suppose this tech is reserved for next-generation wireless network... Input latency on offline game controls, especially on action-based games would not give a good gaming experience.
Looking forward to see it reach the masses!

I have reservations from this, the latency is the main problem of game streaming, it will lag badly if you have a relative slow Internet connection and of course it will depend of the screen resolution, so in order to enjoy 4K and max settings without lag, you will need an ultra fast connection, which few people have... so i can say for sure, streaming gaming won't be super popular like current gen of consoles, well at least not for now.

I'm okay with game streaming services, as it has the advantage in hardware perspective. But i don't want it to be the norm, at least yet, because of how horrible the ISP situation is right now in majority of the world. Might be next 3 to 5 years, when internet is not a problem
