      Dedicated fingerprint sensor look far more practical for me. No need for a work-around to get it working fast. I Don't really understand the need for a in-display fingerprint sensor, when back and side sensor allow to have the bezel-less thing, and I hope new phone will continue to have back fingerprint sensor :(

        The rear camera bump is uglier than most, if not all Apple iPhone rear camera bumps. I bet Huawei wanted to outdo Apple, in terms of ugly rear camera bumps. Maybe it'll help Huawei spy better?

Also, using the UD finger scanner is a two-hand job for most people since few would have thumbs long enough to reach the scanner on those large screens, which makes it less practical. I much prefer a side-mounted finer scanner, which is why my next phone will probably be the Samsung S10e.

              Why can't they have a Capacitive Fingers print scanner on back or on the side of the phone?
              These in screen fingerprint scanner are just slower & unreliable
              we are riding stupid trends
              Like removing headphone jacks & fingerprint scanners which worked perfectly

                                  Do all in-display fingerprint sensors need the screen to be ON to unlock? To me, it looks like a big step backward if we need to press the power button before unlocking the phone.
