I still liked the Froyo. There is a wifi hotspot function bug on Gingerbread. I've encountered this on Gingerbread running Xperia Mini and Lenovo A60 but never on Froyo running Galaxy Mini and Galaxy Ace.

Of course this is only stock roms, all the people with custom roms out there which there are lots, I'm running on Android 2.3.7 at the moment with Miui, if these are just trends on Android the custom roms are still running Android so should not be forgotten

The bigger question is whether phone manufacturers like Samsung will even roll-out ICS for their recently (with a big emphasis on the word "recently") released mid-range level phones like the Galaxy W or Ace Plus as not everyone will or can buy a high-end device like the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S2, or Galaxy R.

ICS for Nexus S has a a number of bugs which is why a number of Nexus S users (like me) are not using it, I am still on Gingerbread. I don't think any of the phones will get ICS before Nexus because it's google's phone and google did say that NS users can expect special treatment. In software update area Nexus series will always be the 1st to get new official stuff, it's the point of Google Nexus

Asus said that the Transformer Prime will get ICS on the 12th of Jan 2012 so this should help boost next months % even more.
