ICS would climb faster if companies would hurry up and release their official updates. I wanna update my Neo really bad, hope it will be sooner.

Still looking at the HC marketshare, which isn't growing all that much. With a 3.3% marketshare on ~250 million devices (going from the 'above 200 million' beginning of November plus 31x700k new activations a day in December, plus a bit), gives about 8.5 million HC devices, which should be mostly/only tablets. It means that Tegra2 still didn't pick up much traction two years after it's 'release'.

It's just a matter of time when ICS will be rolled out for SG2 & the myriad versions of the SGS2...like SG2 HD,LTE..so on & so forth..that will take ICS soaring on the charts....also its early 2012 too early if I may add.
SE has a roadmap ahead that should contribute to the growth.

Sure would be nice to be part of the .6 with my nexus s, but I guess the techs at google can't figure out why it does not work properly with the i9020a version of this phone...I have been an android supporter for a couple of years now and thought I made the right decision to go with a nexus device after my milestone fiasco, but I guess not. I did not think the fragmentation issue would hit the nexus s and the delays are frustrating, especially when you hear that some devices (like Asus' new tablet) may get the update even before a year old google phone. Also, the fact I can't move digital copies of movies I buy unless they support pocket blu, which is so far just one movie I own (or certain other copyrighted material) to my phone without multiple irritating steps is starting to make we wonder if Android is for me...Pretty much all of my friends that have Android devices are feeling the same way as well...My brother and his gf have Galaxy s phones that are only about a year old and are now not being supported.
I can't believe I'm going to say this as I've trumpeted Androids pluses in the past, but it is pretty disheartening when you have Apple who are still supporting an older device like the 3gs years after release, but Android manufacturers give up barely a year after release of their phones because they can't make it work with their versions of their memory hog launchers...
I really do want to stick with Android, but issues like this make it hard to do so. I am not willing to, or can afford to, upgrade to the new Nexus device every year just to get the newest rom first, or willing to void my warranty with buggy custom roms just to say I have it. You are making it very hard for me to be a supporter of yours Android, as much as I want to stay...
