I'm assuming you use wifi, thus the phone has access to the network and ANYONE using that network is "accessible".
Remember that you're using a SMARTphone and there's a LOT of code running behind what you're seeing on the display..
Just because you only have music on your phone, it doesn't mean people around you aren't affected, especially if you connect to the internet with wifi or even your PC. Do you do online shopping? Or anyone in your household does? Oooops...

I say keep buying, they have to earn their meal too. At least they are SMART.

I've said it dozens of times; Chinese electronic companies cannot be trusted. The Chinese government-backed companies have been stealing intellectual ideas for years. Why would anyone be surprised if they start going after personal info? I'll never own another phone or computer that's made in China.
