The Redmi Note 7 Pro will not be available globally

While the global Redmi Note 7 has a 48MP main sensor on the back, same as the Pro, there are a couple of key differences between it and the Pro.

maybe sd675 is reserved for Mi A3? but thats actually a bad news because Mi A3 probably will have smaller battery, no micro sd slot and no earphone jack. If that the case, Mi 9 SE looks like a better choice here..

        Just buy it online, and for lack of support? Go to MIUI site and you will see it has more support than XDA

                Good news, dont release new phones until you fix old ones, Mi9 for example. Power managment is so bad that endurance rating of 95 h is just a dream, 30 h is real. Fix your flagship first, then you can release other phones.

                    A very good decision for another OEM like Asus, Realme, Vivo, Samsung because they will produce the almost same specs phone like Redmi Note 7 Pro and sell it globally without competition from Xiaomi. Then after that Xiaomi want to release it globally but its become too late because others OEM are now monopolized that market sector.

                                The sensors even with the same resolution aren't the same Samsung S5KGM1 (1080p) for the regular Note 7 versus Sony IMX586 Exmor RS (2160p) for the Note 7 Pro, probably the different drivers have something related to it. So globlally you get worse sensor and worse SoC.

                                      This decision can be good and bad. On the good side, they'd save up on production costs in case the Pro doesn't sell too well compared to their other products, theoretically speaking.

                                      On the bad side, if the people who have been waiting for this phone find out about this, they'd be upset and everyone else might think Xiaomi's 'too scared' to expand it (people getting more sensitive as phones are becoming pretty important right now). The factor that can help reduce the magnitude of these issues would be the fact that vanilla and Pro have very small differences - they're almost the same phone.
