if they decided to launch it, xiaomi must have some long term testing going on.
everytime, a phone maker launches a fast charger, some idiots will say it will explode or battery will degrade, from 5V1A, 5V2A, 9V1.6A, 12v1.5A QC1 to QC4. I find that if you charge it overnight and not unplugged it after 100%, it is more likely the battery will swell than you charge it at top speed.

My ipad came with 12W charger ...
It charges something like 2200mAh /hour ...
I think something like 15 or 18W is more than enough.

Most of the time I use slow charging when I'm not in a hurry. I can pretty much count with my fingers the number of times I used Fast Charging.
When I'm at home, I use a slow charger (5V, 1A or even lower) while I just charge my phone through the PC's USB port when I'm in the office. I rarely see the need to use Fast Charging.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2019How many days before battery replacement? I assume that this will lower the life expectancy of the battery. I am using a 10W charger and am happy with it. It is possible to charge overnight or connect the smartphone after a gaming session.
