Only possible if there are 4 batteries in that phone, each battery will have 5v/5A than it will be sufficient like oppo find x dual battery

Only at the beginning, then is slowly will come down to normal levels, protecting the battery and the phone in time.

Well, not exactly 100W, but for me spending more than 90 minutes to charge a phone battery and then use it for half a day is unappealing. For me this is more important than a silly 3.5mm connector for example. This is the reason I didn't buy the new iPhones or why I want to sell my S9+. It takes almost 2h to completely charge.
But then again, I use my phone and iPad as main devices. My windows 10 laptop is just for collecting dust.

Who is even asking for this feature? Desperately need to charge you phone that quick? That just shows the phone battery is too small to even last a day. Xiaomi(plus other oems) create a solution for their own problem. Put a big battery like 5000mah then there is no problem. Till the day fast charging don't degrade our battery I will call it a gimmick.

Basically we go from a Dead battery (0% charge) to another Dead battery (in a few months) due to this even faster charging which harms the battery.

Any charger can charge a dead battery in just 17 minutes, "Michail".

This is beneficial if used with a caution. Basically charge with a slow 3rd party 10 watt charger normally. But when you need charging urgently once in a while, use the 50 watt or 100 watt charger.
This way there won't be much of trouble probably

Yes that sums up their strategy. Get hands-on on new fancy tech that isn't necessarily good or useful or understood by customers through advertising, sometimes with misleading ads and statements. Gaming is trendy? BAM, GPUTurbo! Photography is trendy? BAM periscope (and hybrid/fake optical zoom) camera! Selfies are trendy? BAM beauty pics! Notches are trendy? BAM have some airport notches or water drop notches!
It's all about trends and what you can put on an advert in bold.

100w fast charger will cause battery to heat, meaning faster degrading of battery life, and higher risk of explosing (li ion batteries explode on excessive heat)

I can admit for the rest that for other tech they didn't really invent but just got early dibs like 2k displays, in display scanners, 5x optical zoom
Some minor stuff like the hybrid SIM slot tray from Huawei
I'm not really sure of the story behind reverse charging
I guess most of China's gameplan is to adopt tech quickly

This looks like some bad gimmick. Next year they will have a 200W charger that charges in 5 mins.
I am curious how nobody checks battery life, soc turn out, overheating, etc.
At this rate they might as well put a 1000W charger that charges even before they switch it on.

IpsDisplay, 26 Mar 2019Interesting comment you honestly think that Chinese oems ov... moreWell, what have they done? I mean, nothing that is coming from another company and they just got dibs on the first public release.
Here's one: GPUTurbo junk and all their rebranding across all Chinese OEMs. The fake thing that claims to increase performance while reducing power consumption with bold figures that can only be reached with new architectures?
How about those destined-to-die hole-less phones that died before hatching?
We can also cite amazing inventions like ultra intrusive spying that even checks when the screen turns on among other valuable info, benchmark cheating, innovative usage of Control-C + Control-V over Apple blueprints, flexible smartphones that self destruct after you fold it to make it super secure, and more...
I'll let you write the rest.

optimized or not, it is still basically lithium ion/polymer battery, in order to fast charge in, you are pressuring the battery to do so and the temperature of the battery goes up drastically, and battery dont like heat. it will automatically shorten the battery life. on the other hand, lg and sony is using qnovo to monitor and slow charge their battery when more than 50% of charge to make their devide last longer. sony also moving to the direction of power delivery charging which does not heat up the battery much. good luck with the plannrd obsolete..

This is very bad they increased the voltage instead of the amps
Oppo's way is leagues above every quick charge in the entire industry not only did they focus more on amps
They went as far as dividing the work load across two smaller batteries ( just like how highways have more lanes to manage traffic)

This all means nothing. You can easily have a 200W phone charger. But the battery won't like this. Anyway, continue to show off Chinese OEMs. You have numbers but you don't have quality, or the things that actually matter
