As long as they will continue to create useless technologies and employ unskilled personell they will get more and more down just like HTC.
I am glad companies like Xiaomi or Huawei do what we want and expect do job for people and they are not selfish like Samsung who creates before asking anyone if they want it or no.

I was a Samsung user for many years. I went with the Huawei mate 20 x over the s10+... The big reason was the price. The Samsung is nearly double. To be honest, I don't think I'll be back. Also, the rounded edges, they look nice but make the phone so fragile and give more accidental presses.

Time for Samsung to release a Sam Card, launch a gaming arcade, become a movie producer and a newsstand. Hehe

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2019That's what happens when you decide to put holes in screens... moreDid you even read? DRAM and NAND are to blame.
And they sell those displays to others. They still sell hole-less displays.

That's what happens when you decide to put holes in screens especially after making fun of the notch on other brands.
BAD SAMSUNG.

Saw it coming. DRAM and NAND demand collapsed recently after the flood of demand. This is caused by the end of the cryptocurrency rush and by Intel's processor woes, which led to a global slowdown of computer and server sales, which can only lead to a slowdown of sales of other components (why would you buy RAM without a CPU?). Things should stabilize in the following quarters as Intel ramps up production and begins real 10nm processors production for their new architecture, which in the end should boost sales.

The part where they mentioned the plummeting OLED sales kinda contradicts that Counterclockwise post where they said OLED is getting more popular. Weird

Never ending growth is impossible, it seems that rich investors don't want to accept this. Greed is never-ending for the rich but growth is not. Recession will come again just because investors can't settle for constant gains... they need to multiply forever.

Didn't Samsung ( corporated with other memory manufacturers) artificially created shortage to drive price increase? And China (attempt to sue them and) finally decided to built their own memory / silicon company because sky-high ram/flash storage prices for YEARS. Threatened, memory manufacturers start reducing their price at the end of year, but still way more expensive per GB compared 2012's prices. I bought cheap 16gb kit for $60, now I need $100 to get same grade 16gb kit.

The market for 999 USD smart phones is shrinking? Shocked--SHOCKED I say. Surely people wouldn't be buying the pretty good 249 USD phone with 62% better battery life.
