So finally camera division will help the mobile division with their devices? lol

Maybe we'll funally get the Audio department guys to invent the Xperia headphone jack again

kerul, 28 Mar 2019Okay for the information only ZTE axon v likely having 21:9... moreWell they could learn a thing or two about marketing from Sammy:
            https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/22/18277171/samsung-marketing-audit-probe-report-marc-mathieu-wsj

Its now obvious why, and how exactly, Sammy got so much more popular than Sony.

Sony is stpid for completely obsoleting and drying out its marketing.
I could and should say, just because of that one continuously stubborn managment flaw, they deserve the results they have now.

The chinese is going to be shut down.
Making all phones only in Thailand will be much cheaper.

                Amazing move! Make.Believe Sony!

20:9 hahaha.. what a ratio, you can find content which support 21:9 but 20:9 nah.

So just praise their efforts cause Sony knows what they are doing rather than just marketing.

I think one phone is already coming with 21:9 aspect ratio, not sure which one. But yes u will see more TV remote this year and please stick with your opinion.

this can only be a good thing. the old CEO was holding them back. now they have more departments to borrow tech and expertise from and might actually manage to get their decent sensors to get a decent picture.. instead of selling them and every other company getting the better image

Not much of a sony fan but yhere Xperia 1 is a beastly phone if its cameras are up with the comoetition and take a huge step up in marketing they can atleast get in top 6 and if they reduce prices to sane levels maybe even top 5

I love Xperia. Typing this comment on my Z3. It still works fine. Haters want Sony's death. I hope Sony can survive.

And how many layoffs to cut the operation cost by 50%? Will they increase the TVs price with a mid-range phone as a gift to count it as profits?

Sony Mobile Communication will be merged together with its Camera, TV and Audio businesses as of 1 April 2019. Perhaps this will be the strategy to leverage expertise from their powerful Alpha, Bravia and Walkman/Audio departments to build the next smartphone with IoT using 5G technology. #thereisstillhopetorecover
