The twitter on my ipad has been black for more than 1 month.

When I think that all of those app on Windows mobile (twitter, WhatsApp, Outlook, YouTube) had those dark theme 6 years agoÂ… and now the same dev takes ages to push the same thing on other plateform… Say what you want, only necessity pushed me from WP to Android, and it's just bland and boring. But well, there are app that works at least.

See Google, everybody is adding dark modes.
We're still waiting for dark Calendar, Photos, Dialer, Contacts, Drive...

IMO Gsmarena should test battery life results with dark mode too so users can compare how much impact it has

No, 29 Mar 2019Youtube is already OK, it has alternatives. While facebook ... moreYouTube's implementation of dark mode is quite disappointing. It would've been much better if it was completely pitch black like on Messenger and now Twitter.
Facebook, on the other hand, will follow suit a little later, and once again, it will be better than YouTube's current style.
Instagram might even be better than YouTube once they follow suit.
Pitch black makes OLED screen devices cancel out a huge amount of power, and it also looks great on the eyes.
I'm using an IPS LCD device but Messenger's dark mode still gives me a major benefit when it comes to battery consumption.

Although current Night mode feature on Twitter Android App is sufficient for Normal screens, update of proper dark mode feature on Twitter Android App is a welcome step for OLED screens.

It should has been called 'Pixel Out' mode. Since this only works for OLED. Would be perfect if web version has it too. Some people use oled monitor for their pc and laptop. I could see more apps converting into this mode soon.
