I'm sure the battery will last only for a day with moderate to heavy use.

AnonD-21402, 07 Jan 2012if its chipset is MSM 8660 it should be a dual core.i think... moreQuadrants' last update is nearly a year ago.

As far as benchmarking tools go, its outdated and useless, and in this case failed to recognize the msm8660 as a dual core chipset.

Either that, or one of the cores was shutdown during this test, which makes it all the more impressive.

Its mostly people here who know nothing of tech and chipsets who just jump to conclusions and flame the unit to run just on a single core

Front camera? SE should take the path of Samsung or HTC. Even Motorola is ketching-up with the big guys. A little change in design too.

if its chipset is MSM 8660 it should be a dual core.i think its a mistake as this chipset is made for dual core CPUs.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2012single core?? failll...since most of the users dont need or dont know how to use more than a single core cpu in a phone is not a fail. only the ones that aren't so bright choose a phone on the number or cores it's got in the cpu.very few ppl realy use the phones of today to their true potential. it looks to be a great phone, beautiful design, great camera we will wait and see the final product

It seems many people who post here doesn't know anything about system. Many people have been hypnotized with the marketing strategy from mobile phone vendor.

It's not just about the SPEC/HARDWARE that make system work. But it's the combination of both hardware and software. It's depend on how the software can get the best from the hardware and vice versa.

Just look what Nokia do with its N9. In term hardware, it's just 2 years old hardware, but what meego do? The phone work better than other phone in it's class in it's year (hardware year). Just read article about meego in this site.

Iphone, its smoothness is the best until today. With much lesser hardware than the other phone. Why they can do that? Because they can maximize the hardware potential with their software.

Sony, they can make 'unstable' android become more stable with lesser hardware. Just read the article about xperia phone in this site.

So? It's your choice. Become spec-wise consumer or become WISE consumer.

RamyRamz69, 07 Jan 2012Seriously...Quad Core? My Dell Inspiron runs on Core2Duo 2.... moredefinitely. a quad-core??? yes, maybe one has a quad-core phone but the battery life is just so poor because of that processor. That is so shameful as he would be needing to charge his phone always. Then if that would be the case, he should be staying at home and do whatever tasks those are using a multi-core computer; or if he really insists to use that multi-core phone, then he should be playing with his phone but not going too far from the socket.

Seriously...Quad Core? My Dell Inspiron runs on Core2Duo 2.2 GHZ and can play World of Warcraft, when they release BattleField/Uncharted for Android tell me so I can think about buying a battery drainer quad core phone that will cost much more to play those 2 games which I bet would lagg and not be as good on a 4'5 inch screen.

Dual core is more than enough for a phone, and quad core is totally exaggerating. I mean, what would you gonna use your phone at anyway? Playing skyrim?
