Anonymous, 01 Apr 2019You get what you pay for, so there's no point complaining. ... morePhones already contain malware and spyware preinstalled, so they sell my data all the time, that should be more than enough to get solid 10 years support for a phone. I will not support any kind of retarded tactics to make me pay more.

If you want a phone that will updated regularly, you need to pump up more money. Or buy a used iPhone from last year or two years ago which will perform the same or even better than any android you might get new from the store at the same price.

Best part of this phone is the beautiful notchless/holeless design...

Brands like Meizu and Umidigi, imo they do have potential of making it outside of India and China. I honestly feel like the main thing that's holding them both back is lack of support of updates. For example, the umidigi Z2 Pro has been out for almost 1 year, and I can guarantee you, it's probably received about 3 updates

It's a shame that Meizu never updates their devices to newer Android versions. Otherwise, they make fantastic phones, but their insistence on Flyme instead of keeping up with Android version upgrades is the primary reason I stay clear of Meizu.
