This number is unacceptably high. Imagine if 10% of people experienced nausea as a result of wearing jeans. Surely other legwear would quickly become more popular. Circumstantially, I spent most of 2017 with a migraine from using a moto z play. Never again.

I'm actually thinking a bit about rooting my pocophone and install oxygen os on it. It seems to work smoothly, with xiaomi Oneplus. And also to get rid of most of the Google apps. Duo, photos, drive and such. It can't be disabled on pocophone.

An alternative to the usual PWM technique that our smartphones with OLED panels are using huh? Well that's nice, as it fixes the flickering issue that's observed when using the PWM technique. So instead of chopping up the power that's being transferred to the display panel, you're basically controlling the power itself to lower the brightness, and this should result in a more consistent flow of power, fixing the flickering issue that PWM technique causes. However, while it fixes the problem that the PWM technique had caused, it created another problem; there's a "degradation" in the colors of the OLED panel when lowering the brightness, but that shouldn't be a surprise given the fact that you're controlling the power being transferred to these self-emitting diodes. But of course, in the end, it's up to the user's choice in my opinion, as it is very likely to be an experimental feature found in the developer options

I had S2 and was amazed of its screen. After i got S4 - beautiful oled, but i found it rather uncomfortable to watch. I took pictures with dslr on fastest shutter and found problem - pwm. S2 didn't have it, S4 had it. After that i got S 5, and note 4 oled, all same - flicker and i found i prefer lcd of xiaomi pocophone or redmi note 5 that oled of best flagships.
So i am excited of return of flicker free oled because i would not buy another without it.
