Nokia Lumia 900 flagship might come in metallic unibody instead of the polycarbonate Lumia 800 one.

I don't understand Nokia, WP7 at the moment - sucks, a person with that money can buy a powerful Android or iOS device.

N9 with Android ICS with Nokia's own customized skin would've sold like hot cakes!

I would've seriously considered buying it too, Nokia and Windows Phone though? Naah.

      Galaxy S or iPhone.

Nokia will innovate within their partnership with Micro$oft. Development and innovation takes time, allow them to take their time. I distinctly remember the mediocre cupcake devices which had low spec but worked well, how many versions later and where are we?
When windows phone has had the same amount of revisions as android then we can talk. I imagine that the increase in hardware requirements wont be the same as android over the same time.

If Nokia went Android they would have had a chance to take advantage of their fav chip maker, Texas Instruments, ALL of Nokias best and most memorable Smartphones have a good ol' TI OMAP ticking inside including the N82, E90, N93, N93i, N95, N95-8gb, N900 and N9. It would have allowed them to skin it with their own Nokia icons, font, their antennas etc... An Android based Nokia would have been a true Nokia, no outsourcing and having to help Microsoft get out of the mess they are in.

SS, 09 Jan 2012I am sure that Nokia will do just fine with symbian and QT ... moreThere will be viruses and malware in Windows as well when they will start to grow. :P

Selling this for a very high price would ruin their chances of getting back into the game. There is nothing groundbreaking about this phone, yet it has good looking hardware, and judging by the lumina 800 good performace.

Nokia phones are very good and I have a Nokia n97 mini and its been with me for 3 years and its still as good as new, but what I don't like about the Lumia 900 is that it's design isn't new its the same as the N9 and the Lumia 800 , Nokia should focus on making better designs and differences, but there is one good thing about Nokia phones it's that they last long and are cheap compared to some other phones and their specs aren't bad.

It ditched its loyal cutomers like me(With Nokia since 3310 till N8) for WIN phone without even giving a second thought. Its like leaving ur own kid(Symbian even though it was capable) for the adopted(Win OS). Had Nokia developed symbian during Androids 1.6 & 2.0 version it would have been on the top even they could have considered adopting Android. Imagine Nokia+Android would have given worlds 8th wonder and best ever gadget in the world.

Android hasnt set any requirement for the hardware, phones such as the Nexus S, Arc, Desire S etc...run extremely fast and smooth on the same hardware (CPU, GPU, and RAM) as devices like the Lumia800 and HTC Titan, the difference is Android has allowed manufacturers to stretch their legs and use hardware they want and develop, just look at Samsung, they build their own chipsets in house for their Androids, it helps them bring production costs down, create excellent hardware, and still sell it at a good price, the Galaxy SII and Note are a great example.

In WP the manufacturers are just manufacturers, their phones all use the same rubbish Qualcomm chips, and cant be innovative. A company like Nokia need to be innovative and unique, WP aint going to give them that, how the mighty have fallen, its a shame.
