And samsung thought to differ at least on their flagships from million other chinese models that have tear drop notch. If tear drop notch was there on main flagship then they would lose their brand value. for me it is not that all bad.
I am totally with you on camera ... 12mp is getting really too old now.
And yes as per IceUniverse. Note 10 is expected to get a major camera upgrade in megapixels .. mostly we might see the 24mp sensors which samsung had developed last year.

someone, 04 Apr 2019what is sooooo disappointing with this or S10 that you are ... morewell as a samsung guy, i expected so much from their S10 family. i expected some major major hardware upgrade on their camera just like with what they did with s9, and not just adding ultrawide, i was disppointed with the punch hole coz to me its too obstructive and ruins the symmetry of the front, it doesnt feel samsung-ish to me, i would rather have a small teardrop notch, thank you, i was disappointed because i cant find any innovation in this series cept for the display which btw is super good. i was disppointed because the battery life doest quite match my expectation. if they ruin it up with the note, i swear im going full apple of huawei.

Seems too good to be true. Would be more believable if coming from one of the Chinese OEMs as they're more experimental. I love this concept tho and hope it's real.

Too bad the A series has such horrible LTE support. Samsung cripples the phones so they work in just a few markets like India and no where else.

I fail to see how this is any better than the Find X design. That phone had only one moving part and the slider had enough space for both a front and back camera.
Here there are two moving parts, which are both unnecessary & more likely to malfunction.
An unintelligent design just to please the aesthetic-hungry crowd.

If samsung's decision makers were smart, s9 should have meizu 16th's design and s10 should have 16s's design. Pill/punch hole is just as an eyesore as big and teardrop notches. Hell, at least notches can be hidden via software.
