Hi guys, if anyone of you is hesitant to buy this phone, worry not. This phone is unlocked to begin with. I have proof as I am using it here in the Philippines with no problems.

All you need to do is improvise a sim tool like the one in the vid to get the sim tray out. And it's 199 now so you guys may want to go at ebay. That's where I bought mine.

it seems that this phone is not Verizon or US exclusive...vodafone in Germany offers it too

Palm now is just a re-branded Alcatel (both owned by TCT company).

If I remember correct, the "Palm" brand belongs now to TCL (like Alcatel).

It's so tiny and adorable! It was a good decision to make it work as a stand-alone, instead of an accessory, because that was totally ridiculous.

This is a good move. It would be nice to see a bit more advanced compact phones down the road though. Something like the iPhone SE or Xperia Z1 Compact. I believe their is a strong niche market for such products, and they'll sell well if made & marketed right.

As Phone makers claimed Unibody design increases space to put more stuff inside. Phone size increases.
As Phone makers claim jack take alot of space.. thus removing it. Phone size increases.
Now, we are approaching bezel-less phone. Will we finally see the stop of the phone size growth??

Make small, po... moreIf 4.5 inch screen still fit in the parameters of Nokia Lumia 520 then there be enough bezels for 4.5 inch as that had 4 inch screen. That Lumia 520 is perfect size for a phone if it would have 5inch screen in it and even can fit 5.2 maybe.

Palm could rebirth as compact focus devices. Make small, powerful, capable phones and you got your market.
4.5, 5, 5.5 with bezeless design would be wonderful.
Altho i dont mind 4.5 with slightly bigger bezels.
