SONY Design fail!!!!it means u don't deserve even looking at or buying SONYs, Sony designs are enough superior than a NOKIAs, whether u see a Sony CMD-J70 or K700i or the latest Xperias, I think u are just satisfying yourself by writing such comments. Nokia is still far away (like always) in technology, OS, customer satisfaction, quality. So beware of SONY, I still have a K700i in perfect working condition and it is priceless.

People are saying this is a copy of the Lumia because it's a similar colour, if you put both phones side by side, I bet they are quite different in fact.
All you need to do on GSMArena is post about a phone, and it will start a flame war. It's pathetic.

I don't see why people keep on saying its a copy of nokia where in fact it's total different. just becoz the back cover is blue then you say it copies the lumia.

icalanwar, 10 Jan 2012the acro design looks like N9 mega-fail copycatthe only thing similar to it is the color options, the design is a refresh of the X10 which was announced in 2009, and released in 2010. So if you're saying the phone looks like the Nokia device and since this is a refresh of the X10, then the Nokia devices are a rip off of the X10 then.

By the way, Xperia NX SO-02D and Xperia acro HD SO-03D still use "Sony Ericsson" brand.
Another Xperia smartphone also will be released in Japan for au by KDDI, but doesn't know whether it will be the CDMA version of Xperia acro HD or not.
I like the Xperia acro HD design. It's waterproof and has a fresh color. Maybe somebody think it's weird that Xperia acro HD has infrared function, but well you know that most of Japanese phone has IR feature for exhanging phone number or ID.
Although those two phones, especially Xperia acro HD, will released for Japanese market only, it's still possble that they will be unlockable since docomo had offered SIM-Unlock program in 2011.

I think you need to take your beer goggles off mate, these are good looking phones. Clean, clinical design that we have come to expect from xperia with a touch of Sony to give it a bit of flair.
Nice design, looks good.. The real question is, can it keep up with the SGS2? or Gal Nex?
