Honor 8 Pro finally gets Android Pie-based EMUI 9 stable update

      What a bonus and a pleasant surprise! The best thing to have happened in my life in the last few months, because I believe that never in the history of OS updates has any phone enjoyed 2 rounds of it. Bought my phone (aka prized possession) in July 2017 with Android N and received the first update to Oreo in Feb 2018. Never for a second had I expected this to be possible! With EMUI 9, I'm enjoying an entirely different and delectable user experience in which the capability of its dual camera are greatly enhanced, with the quality of pictures taken being more superior and refined. The UI of a whole host of other resident apps are also equally as fun, more engaging and delightful. To sum up all the above, Huawei's forward-thinking and customer-centric strategies seal long term owner loyalty that, for me, vindicates my decision to decamp Samsung and embraced a Chinese brand against the reservations, skepticism and even scare-mongering of my well-meaning friends. 👍❤️😀

            There is nothing worse than having an icon on your phone which does nothing because it came preinstalled and is discontinued by the 3rd party app

            If you logon to a website and that site no longer offers a particular service it is no longer on the menu, why are phones different

              Recieved Emui 9 update for honor note 10 in Poland today.

                Please don't download this update. Every icon appears so big and there is no fix for it. Tried changing display settings and resseting the phone still no help. I highly advise not to update.

                Hi Huawei/Honor team please look over this.

                  I received an update on EMUI 9 based on Android Pie already March 29, 2019. I'm from Czech Republic. Build number 9.0.1.161

                    I received android pie update last week on my Honor 9.
