1+6T was one of the best phones of 2018 easily (taking price into account), so 1+7 with SD855 is going to be great too

I just hope battery will be at least 3700, but preferably 4000

6T already nailed design, no need for gimmicks or awful unergonomic curved screen like 1000+ EUR Huawei or Samsongs

They will increase the price even though they only upgraded the processor
It costs more than 600 usd for base model in a lot of countries so it is not needed anymore

Design is fine, some people prefer conventional design. Both pop-up camera and a notch are fine - I've seen people complaining about the mechanism being prone to failure, but I'm still sure that in 99 cases out of 100 it's going to outlive the phone itself unless you're 20 year old instagram 'influencer'.

The real problem - size. If the leaks about its dimensions are true, I'd never even consider buying a 6.5" phablet. If I can't use the phone with one hand, it's no deal.

        Looks like a OnePlus 6Ts

Whackcar, 17 Apr 2019I don't see many people buying the non-pro version then... ... moreHave to agree as who's going to pay more for virtually the same phone with just a stupid pop up camera? Plus can OnePlus really produce 3 phoned this year when they've only ever had one production line in the past.

The 7+ being the 5G phone makes more sense not a 4G 7

I will never buy a phone with mechanical moving parts like a ridiculous pop-up camera.

So many people complaining all the time hahaha.
Oppo phones look like Vivo phones look like Huawei phones look like Oneplus phones look like Xiaomi phones look like LG phones look like Samsung phones look like Apple phones...
They are TACTILE RECTANGLES. They obviously all look the same with tiny differences: metal vs plastic vs glass ; notch vs drop vs classic vs no notch ; cameras position ; buttons position.

What do you expect? It's not a foldable phone and even them will all look alike within a few years.
              "no pop-up it looks stupid!!!"
"no drop notch it looks too old like the 6t!!!"
What can they do?? Put a punch hole in the middle of the screen? Invent a new technology in 6 months ahead of much bigger companies?
              What, do, you, want ?

No thanks.. The design is old

I don't see many people buying the non-pro version then... Let's just hope the Pro version lives up to the hype.

the BBK takeover is real, OnePlus and Oppo is looking closer and closer to each other

Ah, so the regular model will just look the same as the 6T. The only thing you're getting better is chipset. They somehow managed to be more iterative than Apple and Samsung last year

If oneplus release something like this as the standard version without wireless charging, its going to flop big time as the mi 9 will be a better specs device with far cheaper price to choose than this. Nobody in the right frame of mind will choose this over the mi 9 unless in markets where the mi 9 is not available.

I would assume the pro version and the 5G version are the same thing.
