Apple finally surrender to Qualcomm ... I can bet it had cost hundreds of billions at least, Apple may also had to give away some secrets of their mighty chipsets to Qualcomm ... at least they get a six year deal of 5G modem, and it is certainly a good news for their loyal customers, no matter how much they will need to pay for the new phones.

By the looks of the things it looks like it's also true they gave the 4G blueprints to competition (Intel) but Intel whose late with 5G. It's not that simple to develop anything anymore nowadays with so much IP's that need to be acquired to start with if available at all for buying or licensing.
